He was sired by out herd sire, Benoak Fortune C207, who was the Supreme Devon Exhibit at the Sydney Royal Show in 2009. His dam was the breed trait leader, Barnstaple Periwinkle 2. At this years show her offspring took out a blue ribbon in the prestigous Dams progeny group. In addition, the offspring of Benoak Fortune C207, also won the blue ribbon for the Sires progeny group.

Show Success

At the 2012 Sydney Show we were amongst the most successful exhibitors. We entered 9 events, resulting in 5 first placing, 3 second placings, one third placing ... culminating in Reserve Junior Champion heifer (Kippax Valley Periwinkle G05) and Devon Supreme Exhibit/Grand Champion Bull (Kippax Valley Filante F16).

In addition the progeny sired by our current herd sire, Benoak Fortune C207, were awarded first place in the Sires Progeny Group, whilst progeny from our leading Donor Cow, Barnstaple Periwinkle 2, were awarded first place in the Dams Progeny Group.
